Middle School Art Students will create original, colorful murals on the cafeteria walls to encourage healthy eating and school pride. They will utilize grids copied onto original sketches to draw the murals onto the cafeteria walls. The half gallons of acrylic paint requested will be used to paint the original murals. The school mascot (Indians- a male and female) will be used to flank the new name: Indian Cafe. Cartoon milk cartons above the milk chests will encourage students to drink milk. Students PK-12th grades will be able to enjoy their meals in a bright, cheerful environment that reflects and encourages good food choices.
