In Kindergarten, children learn letters and their sounds and numbers and their values. What they learn here sets the tone for their whole academic life as well as their personal life. Children learn best through play. During center time, children have the opportunity to pick the activity that most interests them. The activities are planned around the Letter of the Week.
By providing this great variety of games and choosing resources from Teachers Pay Teachers, my children will be able to tie activities to reading and make learning to read a higher priority.
Creating an enticing learning environment is challenging especially in an early childhood classroom. These activities will have a great impact on my students!
