I have an active second grade class. I have children that are adjusting to in-person learning. Many have not been in school for 2 years. May have missed several weeks this year due to Covid or family illness. They are wonderful, smart students but many are restless and struggle staying on task. Flexible seating would allow my students to freely move around the classroom. I'm sure having a choice where to sit would help them engage with others, as well as help them to focus on the tasks at hand.
