My students come from a variety of different backgrounds and home life. I strive to provide a safe, stable, consistent, learning environment that nurtures their academic growth. I am a new teacher to the district and I would love to provide my students with hands-on experiences to encourage their learning and growth. This will encourage a repetition of excitement through their early childhood years. For my diverse students, learning is best done through hands-on play. A light table and light table materials will help my students build math, literacy, sensory exploration, and more through the use of color and light. The light table displays light with plenty of room for building, exploring, and learning. The learning materials include numbers, letters, shapes, patterns, and other skills that will focus on a new hands-on learning opportunity that will enhance their learning. The light table and materials will make learning fun. These materials will allow me to be a light in their world of learning. It is exactly what my students need!
