The students participate in robotics the entire school year developing coding skills and team collaboration. A Dell laptop would allow students to code their robots more efficiently with quicker processing. The old chrome books the students use now are slow and less compatible with the program. Botball robotics allows the students to design and build autonomous robots and use logical reasoning, analysis, planning and organization skills for programming technology. Having updated technology to develop these skills will help equip the students for the well-prepared, creative, and disciplined workforce with leadership and teamwork.
The pandemic has not only changed how students learn but also the public job market. Students are meeting academic needs through virtual school, and the work market is relying more on technology and less on human resources. Botball robotics enhances the students' understanding of coding and how technologies work underneath the hood. The program the students use in Botball has real-world uses such as operating systems, web browsers, gaming and animation, and graphic user interface-based applications.
