My students are unique in the ways they learn. Some students work better in different environments that don't confined them to a desk, and I want to make that possible in my classroom. Some of my students have attention complications this causes them to want or need to move around, or maybe just stand. By using these tables that will allow my students to feel free to stand up if they want, or set down at a desk. Some of my students don't have a place to charge their device at night, they are embarrassed when asked "why isn't it charged." These tables would allow them to just plug in and go. Why should we limit them to a constricted space. Let them choice what helps them learn or inspires them to want to do better in their education.
Covid has limited their social and educational interaction. My students have had a limited education up to this point due to Covid, and I want to provide the best, safest, and friendly classroom I can.
I also want my students to succeed on their state test. In the 6th grade students are allowed to use a basic calculator on the math portion of the test. I would like to have enough calculators that are very similar to the ones they are allowed to use on the state test to help prepare them for greatness. Practicing with the new calculators and having new flexible seating my students will have only one way to go, and that is up.
