We all know that “healthy active students make better learners” and music can reduce anxiety.
This activity will help increase our students enjoyment of aerobics, strengthen concentration, memory, and focus. It will help reduce stress, can be done by all age levels and, with some help and modifications, can be done by all students. It will introduce them to a wide variety of and an appreciation for many different types of music.
We will also explain and show how this activity can be done at home using a big balloon/ball, round trash can or clothes hamper, and wooden/plastic spoons. This allows our students to show family members what they are working on in PE and Music. As well as their being to teach how this activity works and explained the benefits as stated above.
