Kindergarteners learn through play! The materials I've requested will help my students learn through creative play over several content areas including math, science and social studies. They will supplement our lessons and explicit instruction in learning about forces and motion, community helpers, animal life and math.
Play is not just a "break" from learning, it IS learning! Learning through play is actually ESSENTIAL for a child's cognitive, emotional and physical development. The products I've selected will help them in their fine motor skills, social interactions and provide opportunities for language development.
