Updating my classroom library and reading corner will help encourage my students to grab a great book and cozy up in the reading corner. With such a wide range of learning levels in my classroom, this crew (and future) would really benefit from an expanded reading library. Having a good book to dive into while sitting in a relaxing reading zone will provide a much needed learning area to increase reading interests and help students feel they have a safe area to get lost in the pages of their new books. Adding leadership, growth mindset, and emotions / feelings books to our classroom library will help a lot of my students cope with the struggles and impacts from COVID-19.
