My students love to publish their fiction and non-fiction books that they write during our writing units. We work hard to write all sorts of books throughout the year, and my students greatly enjoy typing them up and turning them into e-books. They then share these e-books with their classmates, and feel like true-published authors. However, typing on their iPad can take a very long time and many of them don't always get to finish. Having keyboards would not only allow them to publish their books quicker, but it would help them learn proper typing techniques that will be essential as they grow up in a 21st Century environment.

About my class
