To help my students learn amid the pandemic, I believe Virtual reality can bring the world to my classroom. The pandemic has shifted teaching styles and motivation for learning. Virtual reality technology can bridge the gap and expose students to an infinite amount of career exploration and resources in safe and controlled environments. The pandemic travel restrictions do not apply in the VR world. Students who are able to witness historical and current events through realistic and sometimes even futuristic lenses can be inspired to rise above their socioeconomic situation and become the future of America.
Virtual reality headsets in the classroom will help attendance and get kids excited about coming to school.
To make upcoming units engaging my students Could use the headsets to explore National Parks, the various Wonders of the world, and space stations. We can also meet with famous engineers, writers, scientists and other people all around the globe. Virtual reality headsets can provide experiences that students would not be able to have otherwise.
To bring my dream learning activity to life, I’d love to get VR headsets for students to use in my classroom.
