The microscopes will allow my students to really see what we are discussing when we go through our cell units. As of now we do not have access to any decent microscopes. The students won't know what to think about having microscopes that work! My students and I will all be so excited to receive these new materials! The hot plate, heat lamp, beakers, and thermometers will be used in several different science experiments. I have been improvising with materials from home and from supplies from previous years. The students have been good sports, but it will be nice to retire my "World's Greatest Grandma" mug for a real glass beaker.
