Having previously used a different type of flexible seating allowed my students to form new relationships almost daily. A combination of flexible seating and having no prearranged seating allows the student to create new relationships and deal with conflicts before they escalate into more than squabbles. Given the opportunity to choose your type of seat, location and by a new or prior friend provides surprises, excitement and an eagerness everyday that I don't always see with typical chairs and desks. These students have not experienced forming relationships due to Covid-19.
