My students come to our Alternative School for various schools across the district. Many have been to several different school and inpatient settings along the way. They come to us with low math skills, little interest and limited resources. Students learn best with hands on projects and having a 3D Printer in the room will bring math to life! They will be able to think, design and print various shapes & objects within the classroom. Most of my students have not be exposed to the workings of a 3-D printer of any type. Having on available in the classroom for designing and printing will be exciting! We can bring bring math and science together! A 3D Printer will to inspire them to work harder and think differently about learning new math skills.
