My high school students have lost their confidence in their math knowledge. What they once knew, they are now unsure of. During the 5 months of no instruction in 2020 due to Covid-19 , and every day since, my students' math abilities have been waning.
I can't give back that lost time to my students, to catch them up. But I can put tools in their hands to launch them past their individual obstacles and weaknesses, and show them that they can be successful in math.
These calculators will be used by students in my classroom to help them overcome their insecurities with difficult numbers such as decimals, integers and fractions, and help them to explore Algebra in a way that is inspiring and engaging.
