The over-the-chair pocket holders will be used daily to hold each students' individual items that they need to help them be successful.
As a Title I low-income school we are very limited on the funding we receive and therefore we receive a lot of hand-me-downs passed through teachers and co-workers. Sometimes we have to patch and tape items to get us through the year.
Having these over-the-chair pocket holders would be such a blessing to these students as they would have their own area near them to hold their personal writing, reading, and math work, as well as clipboards and writing offices. They would be so excited to see their name on the back of the chair and feel like they belong!
