Students like to work with their hands and this helps them forget that they are doing math in the process. These manipulatives and visual resources will help my students. They will assist students in learning the concepts for the number system, expressions and equations, and geometry. When students are able to use manipulatives to create models they can better visualize a concept. My students had to learn math from home during COVID-19 distance learning. My students didn't have access to math manipulatives at home during distance learning. Now that we are in the classroom together I want to give them the ability to use math manipulatives during our lessons along with visual aids to help guide them through the math processes.
