Early childhood is the building block of education. Research shows that we need to take a holistic approach to children's development. By providing tools for children to learn and play we are facilitating their academic and social-emotional development. Covid-19 has added to the desperate need to help children both academically and socially-emotionally. The focus of education is to help children gain skills to be life-learners.
Your contribution to this project will provide tools, like mats, boards, puzzles and face sheets, to our classroom that will promote growth, learning, and fun for all children. My children are the future of Oklahoma.
"CENTER TIME - READING BUCKETS - MATH TUBS are a favorite part of our day. Learning and play go hand in hand." By providing my children time to play with manipulatives and thematic tools, they gain skills in communication, explorations, and confidence. My goal is to create an inclusive environment that allows all children to gain skills needed to be life learners. I also want to provide a culture in our classroom that promotes inclusion and acceptance for all. Through play, we learn valuable life skills that will last a lifetime.
