The math manipulatives that I have requested will be used to help the students be able to connect ideas and integrate their knowledge so that they gain a deep understanding of the math standards we are learning. The manipulatives will be used to introduce and practice the concepts. Several of my students do not have working headphones. Their families either can't afford to provide them or they have already purchased several sets that have not lasted. Having a classroom set of headphones will be so beneficial during intervention and center time. My students get easily distracted and using these headphones will alleviate extra noise and help them to stay focused.
