Due to Covid-19, students are behind grade level in math and reading. I would like to have a literacy-rich math classroom with manipulatives and games to give students ways to engage in math in meaningful ways. My students love when I read aloud to them. I will use the math literature to enrich the learning of my students. They can go back and reread the literature to reinforce the learning taking place in my classroom.
Putting books, math manipulatives, and games into the hands of my students will help my students enhance their learning and critical thinking skills.
