Many of my students have missed developing important social and emotional skills. These materials will help them to learn to work together, share ideas, and problem solve. The materials in this project will help fill in the gaps in both social and academic goals. By learning through play students are able to understand that their thoughts and ideas have meaning and value. This gives them confidence to try other activities even when they are not sure that they will succeed. Gaining confidence will help them persevere throughout their academic career.

About my class
