These materials will make a huge difference for my students. We are from a title 1 school, meaning sometimes students go without. Our school simply does not have the funding to explore new manipulatives. Research shows that hands on manipulatives helps early childhood students far more than paper and pen.
It has been necessary to get creative with space and storage. These materials will help not only myself stay organized, but my students. I tell them that anything in the room is theirs to use. With more organization at hand, students will be more likely to find and use learning materials while demonstrating ability to clean up and put back correctly.
