These blocks would teach and/ or reinforce critical thinking skills, collaboration, and science concepts. The blocks would be equally engaging for both the struggler and the advanced student. Maybe even more importantly, they would be an equalizer. I teach a large number of students who will very likely not pursue a degree. I also have several students each year who cannot shine academically but would shine as the star student in building or engineering. The building could strengthen skills for the college bound, the future blue collar worker, and may even inspire the undecided student to choose college.
