With so much isolation of families during the pandemic, many pre-k students have had limited experiences with play and learning. My students have been deprived of lots of experiences, especially group ones, because of covid 19. They need to explore and share and interact. They need to feel feelings and learn to calm themselves and adjust. They need to explore textures and problem solve. Working alone and with other students in sensory bins both on our light table and in our sensory table will help my students with communication, sharing, problem solving, and self-regulation along with counting, sorting, patterning and many other skills. Please find these sensory materials for my class.
