The books that have been chosen will give my students the chance to read new texts. Our classroom library isn't very large but it is growing. The students love to read and just get lost in a book. It is fun to call on a student that is into a book and have them not hear you because they are concentrating on reading. These books are ones that I feel will help the students further their growth in reading by being about topics and things that relate to all of them.
