All requested center activities and money towards purchases of center jobs from TPT will directly assist my students this year and in years to come. I utilize small groups for daily instruction in literacy, phonics, grammar and mathematical skills. Small group time is crucial as it helps to reach all learners and their individual needs.
During small group time, students not participating in instruction with myself, work in groups on center skill-based activities. These centers target skills taught in prior whole group and small group lessons. These centers must focus on skills students have previously learned at their level. The resources requested are much needed to help small group time be successful for all learners.
In the midst of COVID-19, these students long for small group instruction and differentiation now more than ever to assist in establishing lifelong skills. Funding towards Math, Literacy, and Grammar centers will not only provide an opportunity for such learning to take place, but also allow ample time to be spent on designing small group instruction and less time creating skill-focused centers.
