The products that I have chosen will encourage hands-on learning in our classroom. Due to Covid-19, my students have spent an excessive amount of time on technology. I believe that it is important that I give them the opportunity to make phonics, math, and reading a hands-on experience! We will use our hands-on resources every day during our literacy centers.
My First Graders have never experienced a "normal" school year. This year we are as close to "normal" as they have ever seen. We are physically in school 100% of the time. I want to show my students that learning can be a fun, active experience. Play is imperative to our younger learners, but they have missed out on that the past two years. It is time to make learning a hands-on experience again.
