The use of math games and manipulatives are essential to learning. My project will be most helpful to closing the gaps that occurred during the COVID-19 pandemic. By using fun and engaging math games and other math manipulatives this will ensure students are gaining mastery at the math skills that are needed.
Along with sharpening students' math skills, we will be working on their social and emotion skills. As they are playing the math games, they will be exercising their social skills by learning to work as a team and collaborating with others.
