My classroom is full of adventurous students needing and wanting hands on learning. Supplying them each with a terrarium kit to create, plant, and grow their own mini garden will provide them with a learning experience that continues after the classroom lesson has ended. Beginning in the classroom with a magnetic set depicting the plant life cycle, a window growing kit to experience the growing cycle, and a hydroponic growing system to show the diverse ways to grow plants, students will have the basic knowledge to create their own botanical world. This project will show how learning at home and learning at school can be used together.
