Being in a self-contained Special Education classroom, students sometimes miss out on advanced STEM skills. My project would allow students to engage in these STEM skills while being in an environment that is academically and emotionally suitable. The Wonder Workshop Cue Robots will allow students the opportunity to learn coding and participate in STEM activities through hands-on learning.
Allowing students the opportunity to participate in hands-on STEM learning will increase their engagement and motivation within the classroom. With this project, students will be able to use higher order thinking skills through the use of technology. The students will also be able to practice problem solving skills and teamwork/cooperation through group activities included with the robots.
