The materials that I am requesting for my students will help enrich the curriculum they have learned this year. Last year, due to the pandemic, when my students were in Pre-K, they mainly relied on their iPads while at home for classroom lessons and activities.
This year, I want to give them more options for hands on learning. Children learn in many different ways, and I have selected a range of different materials, like magnetic letters and alphabet locks, that I believe will be helpful for my students in letter knowledge, number writing, addition and subtraction, and CVC words practice. These are subjects we work on everyday in our classroom, and I plan on having my students use them during their station and small group times to enrich their knowledge in these areas.
