My students have Chromebooks that are not a touchscreen. This makes it difficult to "write" problems or math symbols in the digital tools we use. Students use digital, interactive notes instead of textbooks. Typing math problems and pulling in math characters can become time-consuming and frustrating for students. Trying to freehand with the touchpad can also be difficult.
The Wacom One will allow students to write on their screens. It will allow them to fill in their notes, complete digital worksheets, design projects, and so much more! Being able to write on the screen will also allow students the option of using a digital resource that will prevent papers from being shoved in a locker or lost before they make it back to the classroom. Whatever the need can be pulled up on their screen.
