Students are often too embarrassed to admit that they do not know how to read the clock hanging in my classroom. Many of my students are refugees and immigrants who have missed important aspects of elementary learning like how to tell time with an analog clock. The set of clocks I ordered will help them have a hands on way to quickly make up that gap in learning.
Students also often feel overwhelmed by all they have to learn to catch up with other students their age. Treats and snacks as a reward for their work are a great motivator.
