The pandemic has restricted students’ face to face interactions. These books will help them still vicariously interact with others through characters and discussions on their chrome books about their reading experiences. This experience helps break down the isolation they must feel during quarantines. They will still have something in common to discuss virtually as well as in person when they return to school. Books break barriers between reader and others’ experiences. Books make learning extremely accessible to all students. The books lend themselves for further learning by providing topics on which students may write.
