With the requested resources, the students will be inspired, feel rewarded, and build relationships. Students will learn about familiar and unfamiliar topics and master new skills that can ignite their desire to learn. The resources will give students the opportunity to begin building an understanding of basic concepts of science and math and how it connects and applies to the world in which they live.
Engineering has never been so fun! The students will be challenged to interact with the world around them in a tangible way, ask inquisitive questions, and encourage independent thought and experimentation. Students will then be able to transfer these skills to other academic domains. The Dynamo Dominoes will help develop the students' logic, kinesthetic, and hand-eye coordination. The Action Stackers will promote STEM principles and build fine motor skills. The Clip Sticks will allow students to engineer designs. The Force and Motion STEM Activity set will allow students to explore the science of "how things go". Students will conduct investigations, solve problems, and explore early engineering. The IO Blocks will encourage fine motor skills, problem solving, and dramatic play and spatial connection. The storage cabinet will give us a durable and safe place to store our STEM resources.
