Pre-K students are constantly learning through play. Play allows them to develop many skills and reach milestones in their early childhood years. My students, like all other early childhood students, learn best through play. Sensory play materials takes their learning and development to the next level. Our sensory table, allows students to explore their senses and learning though things like: water, rice, shredded paper, and sand. This allows students to be engaged in their learning while they play. My Pre-K students would love a light table and some manipulatives to go with it, as well. Different types of learning at this level is key to draw the interest of different types of learning.
