Due to COVID-19, my students lost many in-person classroom hours and educational instruction. The materials I have requested are math activities and manipulatives that I will use to implement Math Workshop. Math Workshop will allow me to work with smaller groups of students at a time and reach every student where they are. Math manipulatives and hands on activities increase engagement and retention. These materials will help my students bridge the gap in their education caused by COVID-19. As an added bonus, the manipulatives and activities I have chosen are all dry erase and/or reusable, so these items will benefit not only my current students, but also many students to come.
