These are everyday materials like paper, index cards, scissors, etc. These items will be used everyday in class to further their understanding of ELA topics and engage them with writing assignments. They will glue sticks and markers to make posters about topics like themes and settings to provide them with a visual understanding. Things like headphones will support students who listen to audio books while they follow along allowing for them to hear how words are accurately pronounced, tones of passages, and so much more. The outdoor equipment will support them in recess by providing them with an outlet to exert their energy productively and be prepared to come back to class focused and engaged.
