As a special education teacher, I am not provided with a specific curriculum. I beg, borrow, and steal where I can in order to teach my students. With their need for differentiated instruction, I am often planning 2-3 lessons per class period in order to reach my students. I use Teachers Pay Teachers often, but cannot always afford to buy what I'd like; I limit my search to "FREE". This makes it difficult to have the appropriate and engaging lessons I desire for my students. I would love to have the funds available to create a curriculum to use not only this school year, but in the years to come!
