I provide much needed counseling services to elementary aged children in a low income community. COVID has greatly impacted the students in my community who have either contracted COVID or lost a loved one to the disease. I am providing counseling and social emotional learning (SEL) in class and in person to help students with anxiety, depression, and grief. I would like to continue providing counseling and SEL in an innovative way, such as using interactive lessons online and videos. I therefore, often use counseling and SEL activities/lessons from Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT) with the students I support-in and out of the classroom. And my elementary-aged students really enjoy the interactive games and videos that utilize daily from TPT. Lastly, a laptop would allow me to present these lessons and videos in a class and one-on-one with ease vs. a desktop. Thank you!
