The items I have requested will help meet the needs of each student in my class at his/her learning level. For example, it will enhance their understanding of a concept like weather by using the weather kit to connect to what we read in science. The sentence builder will connect pictures to text and how snapping the pieces together helps my lower level students connect building sentences to writing. Magnetic tiles help encourages them to build three-dimensional shapes, learn about symmetry, and many other concepts. My students are young and have not been able to experience a lot of the hands on enrichment activities for the last two years because of Covid. They have been so limited and need the reinforcement of hands on activities. These are just a few examples of why I need these materials for students.
My students need as many hands on activities that I can supply them with to maximize their learning. My students and I would appreciate receiving the items on our list. Every item on the list provides my students an opportunity to enhance learning and make connections to concepts in Science, Math, and Language Arts that we are learning about.Thank You
