A variety of building materials will ensure students can work individually and in small groups with plenty of supplies to explore creatively. I love to see students use their creativity to build. Not only can students build in exploration, they can also think critically to solve themed projects like creating "Spookley" pumpkins, building beds for the three bears, helping the gingerbread man cross the river. Many students did not have hands on manipulatives to use throughout online learning in the previous year. I would like for all students to have access to manipulatives, which can be easily stored and sanitized. Because students learn differently, I would like to add to my flexible seating wobble stools for comfortable learning and exploring with manipultives.
