COVID-19 has placed a burden on our schools as well as on our daily routines. With the resources provided, I will be able to give my students new opportunities and resources that have been unavailable due to the lack of individual hands-on manipulatives.
With the resources provided, I will be able to create new individual math and reading learning stations for each child in my classroom. Each child will have the opportunity to practice individually as well as partner learning.
Reading manipulatives will encourage students sight word vocabulary, reading fluency, letter recognition, sentence structure, and language skills as well as increase reading foundation.
Our math resources will encourage one-to-one counting as well as pattern recognition, color recognition, spatial reasoning, and cooperative learning.
I feel students need opportunities to use all aspects of learning on a daily basis in order to succeed in a productive learning environment. As we move forward, I would like to ensure that my students receive only the best during this critical time in their learning process.
