In society this is progressing steadily towards a future of technology-based careers, exposure at an early age to computer coding and engineering instruction has become just as important as basic reading, writing, and mathematics instruction. The Sphero Bolts will give our 5th and 6th grade students such exposure, providing hands-on, collaborative lessons and activities in online, block-based computer coding. This opportunity can offer limitless career opportunities for our students, paving the way for future coders, mathematicians, scientists, and engineers. As a Gifted and Talented teacher, my job is to help my students get excited about the practical applications of science, technology, engineering, and math to their daily lives.

About my class
