Calendar time is arguably the most important time in any kindergarten classroom. While the main purpose of calendar time is to review the calendar, there are also many other benefits. During calendar time we get to learn more about each student as we are sitting there together. We have the chance to celebrate birthdays, learn how to count money, and tell time. These materials will provide my students with life-long skills that will continue to benefit them long after they leave my class. I can not wait to see how this project benefits my students daily.
