There are many different learning styles that students may possess, for my students it heavily relies on a hands-on approach. The Aeroponics system will be used to intercept the traditional curriculum of livestock through agricultural education with plant systems. Now you may wonder why we are wanting a indoor aeroponics system. The answer is simple, traditional planting outside leaves our products vulnerable to varmints and insects which could result in complete termination of our crops. Bringing our farming inside and planting the system in our classroom will aide in insect control and even keeping the rummaging animals away.
The donations to this project will be used to plant more knowledge into the young minds and ultimately increasing their academic achievement. Understanding how plant life works as well as putting it to a more hands-on approach. Better understanding how plants grow will help my students with a healthier lifestyle as they will walk away with the knowledge it takes to grow their own fruits and vegetables.
