UIL film is a state-wide film contest in Texas for high school students. We currently only have an iPhone and a tripod that we used to film for the 2021-2022 school year. With next year's contest impending, new equipment would be extremely helpful.
Filmmaking requires students to think from different angles, consider other possibilities, and assess their own work to determine what could have been done better. We will continue to film with my iPhone, however our sound equipment that we used for our first film no longer works. All of the items on this list will help my students produce better films and demonstrate their knowledge.
