Calculators help my students by letting them focus on the problem at hand rather than the arithmetic involved. By using a classroom set of matching calculators, all of my students will be on equal ground and will be able to help each other become familiar with and use them as effective tools. Exploring geometric concepts with quality tools helps by removing some of the unnecessary frustrations that can arise by using inferior ones. They can also open up an avenue for creativity that many students do not realize math provides.

About my class
