With my classroom library, I hope to inspire the students in my classroom to become lifelong readers. These books will allow my students to make independent selections for reading in my high school English classroom. Student choice is extremely powerful for motivating reluctant readers. I have made it my goal to provide access to a wide variety of engaging topics and genres. My students read an individually chosen book in class on a daily basis and create their own projects about those books. I have chosen books I think students will get excited about and will motivate them to continue their journey as readers.
