My students are at the amazing age where they learn and problem solve best through playing. I chose a Light Table with a sensory tray, along with magnetic blocks and transparent letters. These materials would make up entirely new center in my classroom that would spark so much excitement for my students.
These materials would use Literacy and Math materials to open up a whole new level of problem solving and creativity. My class will use multiple senses, textures, and primary colors to expand the learning we focus on throughout the school year. The blocks and letter tiles can be used in a plethora of ways to form mathematical patterns, building constructions, and practice with letters and words.
